M6: 1.27

Release Notes

  • Added /m6 copy-map and /m6 copy-bindings commands, which replace the M6 macro assignments and bindings used by the current specialization with those used by another character/specialization. The former command may be useful when copying action bar contents from another character or specialization.
Example: /m6 copy-map Bajsaljen-Gilneas 2 replaces the macro mapping to match that used by the second specialization of Bajsaljen on Gilneas. The realm name may be omitted if all your character names are unique.

In order to do what it does, M6 creates multiple standard macros, relying on action bars to remember the layout using the standard macros, while M6 remembers which M6 macro was mapped to the standard macro on a particular character/specialization. A standard macro used by M6 may therefore perform different actions for different characters/specializations, which may prevent addons which allow action bar contents to be copied or shared between specs from functioning as intended. /m6 copy-map changes M6's standard macro mapping for the current character specialization to match that of the specified character/specialization, allowing action bars copied from that character/specialization to behave as they would for that character/specialization.
  • #label text is now used as a tooltip of last resort.
